Why should I have a survey?

A survey from Frobishers will be undertaken by one of our fully qualified Chartered Surveyors​. 

You will receive a comprehensive report that will advise you of any potential issues with the property, which you may not have noticed yourself.

On average, new homeowners spend £5,750* on repairs once they've moved into their new home. This is often down to not taking professional advice at outset and having a survey carried out.

What type of survey do I need?

There are three main types of survey:

Level 1 - RICS Condition Report
Level 2 - RICS HomeBuyers Report
Level 3 - RICS Building Report

For most properties, an RICS HomeBuyers report will provide a cost effective solution, whilst still carrying sufficient detail so that you know what you're walking into!

How much does it cost and how long will it take?

Our team will be able to agree a fixed fee with you once they have identified the level of survey you require - this way you'll know exactly what you're paying for.

We know that buying a house is a stressful enough time and we don't want to make it take longer than it needs to, so we ensure our completed survey reports are returned to you within 7-10 working days of our inspection to the property.
